Medicine

If your child requires medicine during the day then we would prefer you or another nominated adult to come into school to administer it.  We are only able to administer medicine if the following conditions exist:

1. It is absolutely necessary during school time
2. The precise timing during the day is not vital
3. There would be serious consequences if it were not taken

If you need us to administer the medicine then you must fill in a parental consent form (see below) which is also available at school.  Please make sure that the medicine is in its original container, clearly marked with your child's name, and has clear dosage instructions with the correct spoon.

If your child suffers from asthma and uses an inhaler then please discuss the matter with Mr Wharton.  It is advisable for a clearly named spare inhaler to be kept at school.
