We are proud to offer Forest School sessions for all our children, from Reception to Year 2.
We believe wholeheartedly that being outdoors in nature is beneficial to children's minds, bodies and mental health. .
We employ a qualified Forest School leader, Sam Emsley, from 'High Peak Woodland Wellbeing', who works with our children in either the vicarage garden or the woodland on Jeffry Lane. The children are given opportunities to develop their resilience, perseverance and social skills through fun, interesting and challenging activities.
Sam works hard to link the Forest School activities with the curriculum and topics the children are learning in school, making experiences relevant and consolidating important skills and knowledge.
